All power parameters in data centres at a glance for load management, PUE identification and more DC energy efficiency

Branch circuit monitoring is an important tool for guaranteeing that power is distributed continuously and reliably in data centres. It makes it possible to centrally record measurement data at clearly defined hubs at the circuit, phase and all distribution and plug-in levels as well as to perform a consolidated analysis of this data. This gives data centre managers and DC facility managers a complete overview of all circuits and consumption and thus a solid data base to, for example, determine the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) values, optimise load distribution and ultimately increasing energy and cost efficiency in the data centre.
