Extension of KVM and serial signals up to 300m via CATx technology
CATx KVM Extender solutions with CATx/UTP cabling enables you to extend the keyboard, monitor and mouse from your computer up to 100 or 300 m (1,000ft) on a single CATx cable, without the loss of signal. Single and dual head KVM extension for DVI, PS/2 or USB signal sources
KVM DVI extension solutions support the DVI graphical interface and extend any PS/2 or USB-based KVM set up to 150m (CATx), 200m (62,5μ multimode fibre cable) or 400m (50μ multimode fibre cable). The DVI KVM extenders are available as single or dual head versions for the support of one single or two TFT monitor screens.
Local and remote access to computer consoles of PS/2 or USB servers
USB KVM Extender solutions are equipped with a transmitter and receiver unit. A standard structured cable is used for the connection of both unit and for the extended transmission of keyboard, video and mouse signals. In this way a user can work with the interconnected server that is located up to 200m away from the local user console. Some USB extension systems offer a push botton at the front that allows to select,if the connected server can be controlled locally, remotely or from both sides. If the transmitter unit is connected to to a KVM switch, then all connected servers can be controlled and managed centrally.
Ideal for the remote administration of serial computers or IT devices in industrial environments
Serial KVM extder systems enable you to extend the keyboard, monitor, mouse and serial device up to 300m with a single CATx cable, without the loss of signal. This allows you to move your computers to remote security rooms, server racks or simply away from the action. Therefore these are ideal solutions for banks, trading rooms, exhibitions and other mission critical locations. KVM extender solutions are available as single access version (control of one PC with serial connections from up to 300m away) as well as dual-access version (control of one PC with serial connections from a local and remote location).
